Melody Yoder
Biography:
Melody Yoder currently works as a Mental Health Therapist for Yoder Counseling and the Marriage Hub in Elizabethtown. Before becoming a therapist, Melody taught in Pennsylvania public and private schools from preschool to high school, as well as teaching as an adjunct instructor for Chestnut Hill College. Becoming a teacher was Melody’s childhood dream. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Cairn University, followed by her PA State Certification in Elementary Education from West Chester University. As a midlife career changer, Melody earned her Master’s in Counseling from Biblical Seminary.
Three years ago, Melody and her husband moved to the wonderful community of Elizabethtown. Together they have four children, six grandchildren and a dog, Lily, who is loved by all in the neighborhood. Melody enjoys reading, puzzles and exploring historical sites. For the past 5 years, Melody and her husband have helped support couples through marriage coaching. Helping people thrive through education and coaching have been a passion of hers throughout her career.
