Melody Yoder

Biography:

Melody Yoder currently works as a Mental Health Therapist for Yoder Counseling and the Marriage Hub in Elizabethtown. Before becoming a therapist, Melody taught in Pennsylvania public and private schools from preschool to high school, as well as teaching as an adjunct instructor for Chestnut Hill College. Becoming a teacher was Melody’s childhood dream. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Cairn University, followed by her PA State Certification in Elementary Education from West Chester University. As a midlife career changer, Melody earned her Master’s in Counseling from Biblical Seminary.

Melody and her husband attend Community Bible Church in Marietta. Together they have four children, six grandchildren, and a dog, Lily, who is loved by all in the neighborhood. Melody enjoys reading, puzzles, and exploring historical sites. For the past 5 years, Melody and her husband have helped support couples through marriage coaching. Helping people thrive through education and coaching have been a passion of hers throughout her career.

Liza Bazarian

Biography:

Liza is a licensed mortician as well as a certified funeral celebrant, who will obtain the designation of Funeral Director upon completion of her state-required resident internship in May of 2025. She believes that funeral service is a sacred ministry, and that God has appointed her there to serve people during their darkest hours. Some of Liza’s previous roles include deputy coroner, domestic violence counselor, and corrections officer. She is certified in crematory operation.

While receiving her mortuary education at Northampton Community College, Liza served as President of the Sigma Phi Sigma Funeral Service Association. She was also awarded scholarships from the Eastern Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and Service Corporation International, respectively. She is proud to share that in November of 2023, she started a new tradition at the college by coordinating the Funeral Service Education Department’s first memorial service to honor its clinical embalming donors.

Liza is a member in good standing of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of American Mensa. She attends Trinity Full Gospel Chapel in Elizabethtown. Liza is blessed to be married to her husband, Taylor. She enjoys taking road trips with him in her Jeep to places like Cherry Springs State Park. She hopes to give back to her community by seeking election to the Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors.

Why Do I Want to Serve:

“My current work makes me highly skilled at navigating high-emotion, high-stress arenas, and I learned how to stand my ground and de-escalate hostile situations by serving as a corrections officer until I formally retired from that career. As a Christian, I feel called to give back to the community where I live.”

Danielle Lindemuth

Biography:

Danielle is proud to serve as a Director on the Elizabethtown Area School Board. With over twenty years in banking and ten years in the construction industry, including four years in Human Resources, Danielle brings a strong background in finance, leadership, and policy oversight—critical skills for making informed, fiscally responsible decisions.

Beyond the school board, Danielle has been deeply involved in our community. She has volunteered with Arts in the Park, helped expand the Elizabethtown Block Party from 170 to over 1,000 attendees, worked with Junior Achievement, and played an instrumental role in starting and leading the grassroots movement FreePA. Additionally, Danielle has volunteered with various Vacation Bible Schools, always striving to make a positive impact.

Having lived in Elizabethtown for nearly 20 years, Danielle and her husband chose this wonderful community to raise their daughter, who is now in college. Danielle enjoys helping with events, cooking, spending time at the beach, and being with family and friends. Danielle believes our community needs strong conservative leadership to ensure our voices are heard at the local level.

Currently, Danielle and the rest of the Elizabethtown School Board are working on remodeling the high school and middle school, keeping fiscal responsibility, academic excellence, and parental control and involvement at the forefront. If re-elected, she will continue to advocate for smart budgeting, high academic standards, and policies that empower families. Danielle would be honored to have your support to continue this important work.

I am seeking to serve as a School Board Director to ensure strong conservative leadership at the local level, advocating for the values and priorities that matter to our community. I am committed to maintaining fiscal responsibility, ensuring that our district’s resources are managed wisely and efficiently. I believe in upholding high-quality education standards so that our students receive the best possible opportunities for success. Additionally, I will work to protect and honor parental rights, ensuring that families have a voice in their children’s education. With a focus on leadership, responsibility, and educational excellence, I am dedicated to serving our community with integrity and commitment.”

Stephen Lindemuth

Biography:

Stephen is an incumbent on the Elizabethtown Area School Board, serving in his fourth year, and second year as board president. For much of his adult life, Stephen has been bi-vocational, serving as both a pastor and long-term, building substitute teacher in the tri-county area of Lancaster, Dauphin, and York counties. Stephen was born in Lancaster county and graduated from Hempfield. He earned a BSEd in secondary education from Shippensburg University, and an MDiv in theological studies from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. Stephen is ordained through the Churches of God General Conference.

In the community, Stephen have served as a Judge of Elections for the last three to four years. Recently, he has been active in preaching and teaching in his local church, as well as assisting in grassroots organizations and events. Stephen’s hobbies include biking, fantasy sports, and flea markets. You might spot Stephen on local rail trails, riding hundreds of miles every summer. Stephen and his wife have been married for nearly 23 years. They have a daughter who is a freshman in college in upstate New York, and they have lived in Elizabethtown for almost eighteen years.

In a second term on the board, Stephen would make it his goal to strongly encourage the district to save money, growing the general fund, in order to finance a reasonable and realistic HS/MS building project, while increasing student test scores in all core subject areas, and promoting a neutral and challenging curriculum.

I am an incumbent, seeking a second term, so that I can continue to make significant conservative change on the board and within the school district.”
