LANCASTER, PA — The Republican Committee of Lancaster County (RCLC) will begin its endorsement and straw poll process as outlined in the RCLC Bylaws.
The following dates and deadlines have been set:
Deadline to submit a letter of intent Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
Straw Poll for all Area Committees Saturday, February 12, 2022
The County Endorsement Convention date is pending finalized petitioning dates which are currently being litigated in court. Committee members and candidates will be notified of exact times and locations for the Straw Poll and Endorsement Convention when confirmed.
Formal letters of intent for candidates seeking the endorsement of the committee must be received by Republican Headquarters no later than Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Letters may be emailed to Contact@GOPLancaster.com or received at 902 Columbia Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603.
Unless otherwise decided by the courts or legislature, the RCLC will proceed in the endorsement process with the preliminary Congressional, PA Senate and PA House maps, and will accept letters of intent for the districts below. RCLC will also accept letters of intent for State Committee Members as listed below.
Congressional District: 11
Pennsylvania State Senate District: 36, 48
Pennsylvania House of Representative District: 37, 41, 43, 50, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100
Republican State Committee: RCLC will endorse and elect (8) females, (7) males and (1) of either gender from the City of Lancaster.
