Article V Section V

Duties

1. In order to allow candidates sufficient time to circulate nominating petitions, it is preferable that the area committee meet to consider candidates for offices in that area no later than two days after the initial date for candidates to circulate nomination petitions.
2. Should the area committee not so meet, then any member of the County Committee in that area may request the County Chairman to intervene. In such event, the County Chairman shall call such a meeting as soon as is reasonably possible.
