Friends,
Thank you for ensuring our Republican candidates made it across the finish line on Tuesday, we have a great slate of candidates to represent our values in November.
Congratulations to Representative Brett Miller who was victorious in the contested Primary Election in the 41st District, he will continue to serve us well in Harrisburg. While the mail-in ballots are still being counted, we can confidentially congratulate Congressman Lloyd Smucker and Senator Scott Martin as well as the rest of our state house representatives who are moving on to the November Election.
We’ve heard from many of you about the scanner issues on Primary Election Day. Please know that the County Board of Elections is working hard to determine the underlying problem and will work to correct it for November. If you were asked to place your ballot in the scanner slot after it failed to scan, please know that those ballots are being secured and will be counted at the Board of Elections.
Mail-in ballots and provisional ballots will be processed over the next couple of days to give the final results from Tuesday.
We also have other exciting news, I’d like to welcome our new Executive Director, Michael Fitzpatrick to the Republican Committee. Michael will serve in a crucial role to organize and execute our victory plan for November as we renew our focus of building a competitive grassroots program and aggressive campaign.
Michael is a graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Political Science and Government. He previously served as the Regional Field Director for the Trump Victory Campaign and as a staff assistant in Congressman Lloyd Smucker’s district office.
He currently serves as the Lancaster County Young Republican Secretary and has been actively involved in Republican campaigns in Lancaster County.
Mike is a huge sports fan and committed Eagles football fan. He and his fiance Sara live in East Lampeter Township.
We’re excited to have Michael join our team, please stop by our HQ to say hello to him.
Republican Headquarters will REOPEN on Monday, June 8th. We ask visitors to be respectful of CDC recommendations and social distancing guidelines.
We unfortunately do not have Trump/Pence 2020 yard signs, however we hope to receive a shipment soon. We do however have “We support Trump and Smucker” signs and yard signs for Scott Martin and the rest of our Republican representatives. Stop by to pick one up during office hours or stop by after hours, signs will be available at the front entrance.
Thank you,
Chairman Kirk Radanovic
