Republican County Chairman Dave Dumeyer today complimented the endorsed candidates and the Committee for successfully circulating and filing nominating petitions. The County GOP, Dumeyer noted, will field a full slate of countywide candidates for the primary election on May 19th.
“This confirms the effectiveness of our endorsement process in selecting the most highly qualified candidates to serve the citizens of Lancaster County. There was great enthusiasm to help our endorsed candidates exceed the number of signatures of registered voters required to file (a petition).”
The Lancaster County Board of Elections confirmed filings for the following endorsed candidates in the offices for which they have filed:
- Dennis Stuckey (Incumbent) – Commissioner
- Josh Parsons – Commissioner
- Jacqueline Pfursich – Clerk of Courts
- Steven Diamantoni (Incumbent) – Coroner
- Craig Stedman (Incumbent) – District Attorney
- Katherine Wood-Jacobs (Incumbent) – Prothonotary
- Anne Cooper – Register of Wills
- Mark Reese (Incumbent) – Sheriff
- Amber Green – Treasurer
In addition, Thomas Sponaugle filed petitions for Court of Common Pleas, successfully filing both Republican and Democratic petitions.
