Chairman's Greeting
Welcome to the home page of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County. The team elected to lead our Party over the next two years—Bonnie Bowman as Vice Chair, Keith Vogt as Treasurer and Jill Gagliano as Secretary—has, with me, nearly three quarters of a century of service to our local Republican Party and of fidelity to our Republican ideals of limited government, less taxes and less spending. Your team has considerable experience in all facets of Party operations, with special emphasis on grassroots campaigns—where races are won or lost.
Moreover, we have appointed former government officials as Senior Advisors who will assist us accomplish our mission to elect Republicans to lead government at all levels. Their years of dedicated public service provides an opportunity for all to benefit from their experience with grassroots Republicans, their experience with the Party process and their overall knowledge of policy development at the local, state and national level. Their service marks a new direction for our Party; a return to leadership that knows how to build Party membership and turn out large numbers of voters on Election Day.
Today, we are faced with a growing number of challenges not seen in nearly half a century, with our opposition challenging us in more and more races and for the hearts, minds and votes of Lancaster countians. With these challenges, come opportunities.
We have the opportunity this fall to take back Harrisburg and return government to sensible fiscal management by electing Tom Corbett Governor and Jim Cawley Lt. Governor.
We have the opportunity to send Pat Toomey to Washington as our next U.S. Senator and Joe Pitts back to Congress.
And we have the opportunity to send a clear message to all that we Republicans are back and we intend to take back both our State and U.S. House of Representatives.
Our success in these and other efforts depend on you, me and like-minded Lancaster countians. It depends on your help with your time and your money as we go forward and engage our opponents on November 2nd.
