County-Wide Convention

February 16th, 2010

On Tuesday, February 16th, the Republican Committee of Lancaster held a county wide convention at the Farm and Home Center. The purpose of the convention was to endorse candidates for the upcoming May Primary Elections.

A large number of volunteers were on hand to register committeepeople for the convention.

Chairman Craig Ebersole opened the convention.

Congressman Joe Pitts gives the convention an update on the situation in Washington.

Representative Katie True and Senator Mike Brubaker also adressesd the convention.

At the conclusion of the convention, the following candidates were endorsed:

For U.S. Senator: Pat Toomey

For 16th Congressional District: Joe Pitts

For Governor of Pennsylvania: Tom Corbett

For Lt. Governor: Jim Cawley

For PA Senate #36th District: Mike Brubaker

For PA Senate #48th District: Mike Folmer

For PA Representative District #37: Tom Creighton

For PA Representative District #41: Ryan Aument

For PA Representative District #43: Scott Boyd

For PA Representative District #96: Tom Garman, Jr.

For PA Representative District #97: John Bear

For PA Representative District #98: Dave Hickernell

For PA Representative District #99: Gordon Denlinger
